HOW TO?

APPLY

Step 1 - Cut

Cut your lash segments up for each eye. You choose how big or small.

Step 2 - Bond

Bond (Mega lash bond). Dab a small amount to the base of your natural lashes.

Step 3 - Bond on spine

Again using the Bond (Mega lash bond). You can also apply it to the spine of the lash as you would with a striplash for extra strength.

Step 4 - Apply

Apply the lash segment underneath your natural lashes, close to the water line but not touching it (around 1-2mm away).

Step 5 - Seal

Set your lashes with the sealant. (Bond maximiser). A small amount at the base of the lashes.

Step 6 - Clamp

Using your applicator clamp to lock the lashes in place.

REMOVE

We recommend using our REMOVAL WAND for the best results in removing the lashes with ease. For a cheaper alternative we reccomend coconut oil, baby oil or vaseline. Oil based products. Please do not tug at the lashes as this may result in pulling out your natural lashes as well as disrupting the shape of the lash segment should you wish to re use them. Work your lashes into a cotton pad and work slowly. Warm water and a flannel is a good aid also.

When used correctly the removal will be completely damage free.

- Generously brush our remover over the top & bottom of your lashes.

- Wait 20/30 seconds, get a cotton pad or wipe to remove.  Repeat if needed.

- Once you have removed the lashes you may still have bond residue on your natural lashes, repeat the above on your natural lashes until they are free from bond residue.

Do not apply a new set of lashes without cleaning your lashes & eye area first to make sure they are free from the remover residue. If there is any remover residue left on your natural lashes you will not successfully be able to apply a new set.

If you notice a couple of your natural lashes in with the segments whilst removing please don't panic as your natural lashes shed daily so you have not pulled them out it was just their time to fall out naturally.

RE-USE

How to i reuse...

– Take a small container and add around 1cm of isopropyl alcohol.

-Place all used lash segments in to container and leave to soak overnight.

– Take all soaked lashes out on to paper towel.

-Use a clean spoolie (included in our kits) to brush any remaining, softened bond/glue away from lashes.

-Leave to dry and re-fluff like brand

INFILL

What to do if one segment falls out?

Not a problem just re-apply the bond to the end of the lash segment and re-apply.

AVOID STICKYNESS

Try to avoid applying too much Mega bond. Next time you apply you should dab the Mega bond at the root of your lash then apply one light coat over the rest of your lashes. If you apply too much you may experience a tacky feeling on the lashes. Our BOND MAXIMISER will also help take away any tacky residue. We also reccomend applying to the spine of your underlash length as you would a striplash.

Are they waterproof?

Our Mega lash bond is water-resistant, meaning it can take a splash or two of water but you can not soak the lashes in water, we recommend avoiding getting them drenched. When washing your face you can still wash around the eye area, use a cotton bud to get into the hard to reach areas & if you have any makeup residue on the lashes you can use a cotton bud with water on to gently remove any makeup residue.

COMMON FAQS

How long do they last?

On average they can last up to 1-7 days or on some occassions 14 days. Using the sealant with the glue will get you the maximum wear out of them. They can also be reused but how long they last overall depends on how they are looked after, personal factors and how well they are applied. If they dont last as long as you would hope it could be due to the reasons provided below…

    •    Your lashes were not clean & free from oil/dirt before application

    •    Not enough bond, try applying a little more bond on your next application. Or too much bond allowing them to slide off if not set correctly.

    •    You are not clamping them together after application, this is really important! Once you have finished application use your fingers or your application to clamp the lashes with your natural lashes for a longer lasting finish.

•    You use a oil based cleanser/serum/eye product – you should not use any oil based products on or near the eyes as this will break the bond down.

    •    You have excessively oily skin especially around the eye area.

I struggle to apply strip lashes, will I struggle with these?

A lot of our customers actually find these easier to apply than strip lashes –  We feel the glue technique makes it much easier and you dont have to worry about them coming off in the corners and you cant feel them on your eye. The bond stays sticky so you can move the placement of the lash easy without the glue drying too quickly. Our boxes include application guides on the back and after a couple of applications & once you are used to the technique you will be a pro at it! We do appreciate our lash system may not be for everybody but it has a high success rate with those who have tried it! Keep in mind it is a learning curve and dont give up too easily, after each application you will get better!!

Will it damage my natural lashes?

As long as you do not tug them off and take time to remove them and the left over bond slowly, they should not damage your natural lashes. Lashes have a life cycle of 60-90 days with each individual lash having its own time/cycle. So if some of your natural lashes seem to come out with the lashes providing you have not pulled them then don't panic it was just there time to fall out! The bond is flexible allowing your natural lashes to breathe and grow as normal.

Are these ok to wear with contact lenses?

We have lots of customers who wear contact lenses with UNDERLASH. Due to the no fumes in our bond they dont interfere with the lenses like a semi permenant lash glue would.

What do you recommend for someone who has never used these lashes before?

We recommend starting with a "Starter kit" The easiest way to get started as they include everything you need.

Do you recommend a patch test before using?

YES! Like any adhesive its very important to perform a patch test before application. Whilst we do take every precaution to ensure our products are non-toxic & suitable for even sensitive eyes, it may not suit every skin type.

How?

Apply a small amount of bond behind your ear (lower section) & wait 24 hours to see if any irritation occurs.

If irritation occurs, rinse the area immediately with warm water for a few minutes, discontinue use of the product straight away. If irritation persists please seek medical advice.

Are they comfortable to wear?

Yes! However making sure the lashes do not touch your waterline is key, if you do place too closely to your water line it will cause discomfort and irritation. Remove the lash straight away if this occurs and re-apply. Lashes should be 1-2mm away from the waterline.

Can you use mascara with them?

If you are wearing for a special occasion you can. However for longevity we do not recommend doing so as Wearing it on top of your lash segments will effect how long they last for overall. Plus they are enough without mascara

Can I wear the same length across one eye, will it look ok?

Absolutely! You can wear the same length or you can have a play with a Lash map box using different sizes. Both work great! Just depends what look you are wanting. For lazy mapping try out our already done for you Pre-cut mapped lashes!

Can they only be applied underneath my natural lashes?

They can also be applied over the top. We just personally prefer the finish when applied underneath. You could cut a strip lash size or into segments and apply over the top of your own lashes or underneath. It’s completely up to your own preference. They are however designed for "Underlash" application.

Can they be used as strips?

They can indeed! Just simply cut the lash length into a longer strip rather than smaller segments. Whatever works best for you is most important. Have a play around with what you like. They are designed for UNDERLASH application but customisable if you wish to use as a strip.

Lash mapping is planning which lengths, curls and looks you will use and in what order, so you can create a fabulous set of eyelash extensions with the style and the level of drama that you desire. We have guides to help if stuck!

Our Lash Map lengths boxes come in small (8mm, 10mm, 12mm) medium (10mm, 12mm, 14mm) and large (12mm, 14mm, 16mm)
